La stampa solo fronte su carta A4 raggiunge 25 pagine al minuto (ppm) sia a colori sia in monocromia. Su carta A5, invece, la stampa solo fronte a colori o in monocromia raggiunge 26 ppm. Il metodo di stampa è la stampa laser a colori, con una risoluzione massima di 2400 x 600 dpi. La risoluzione minima è di circa 600 x 600 dpi. La macchina consente anche la stampa fronte-retro.

Anche Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C250i supporta la stampa diretta, disponibile tramite una chiavetta di memoria USB, Remote UI e l'accesso Web. I tipi di file supportati includono JPEG, TIFF, PDF e XPS, oltre ad altri formati simili. La stampa da dispositivi connessi a Internet consente inoltre di usare una serie di soluzioni software e basate su MEAP. Queste soluzioni permettono di stampare da dispositivi mobili e simili, a seconda delle esigenze.

Il vassoio di alimentazione principale ha una capacità standard massima di 550 fogli di carta comune con un peso medio di 80 gsm. È disponibile anche un vassoio multiuso che può contenere 100 fogli di carta comune dello stesso peso medio. La capacità massima totale di alimentazione della carta è di 2300 fogli di carta comune. Il vassoio di uscita può contenere fino a 250 fogli senza il finisher. Con il finisher con pinzatrice, la capacità arriva a 500 fogli senza pinzarli.
