Il modello Canon imageCLASS MF4690 è un dispositivo monocromatico multifunzione che può stampare, copiare e scansionare documenti. Con carta in formato Letter, la velocità di stampa è fino a 21 pagine al minuto (ppm) grazie alla tecnologia di stampa a raggio laser. La qualità di stampa massima è fino a 1200 x 600 punti per pollice (dpi), con un componente di miglioramento automatico delle immagini (AIR). La risoluzione di stampa è invece di circa 600 x 600 dpi. Inoltre, il tempo necessario per stampare la prima pagina è di circa 8,5 secondi o meno.
